No problem. I think it's because the 1900's seem normal to us, though even then '22 was before our time! Even twenty-six years in, I have trouble believing we're in the 2000's. I'm glad you were amused and not upset though, I was a bit worried.
I went to nursing school for a while, but never finished because my last clinical instructor decided that I was too high-strung for the job - she wasn't wrong. I was stressed out 24/7. It was during this time that I wrote 2000 on a check instead of 2005... I was pretty embarrassed when it came back, with a request for a check written for the proper year. At least I haven't made that mistake again! 🙄
